Description: Louisville Colonels ""mascot"" spoon presented to Fred Clarke's daughter, c.late 1890s (EX/MT). Sterling silver spoon with very eloborate handle. The spoon has been engraved ""Presented to Mascot for the Colonels, Miss Helen Louise Clarke, by friend of her father, Happy Freddie, King of Left Fielders"". Marked ""Sterling"" on the back, along with additional maker stampings. Touch of light natural age wear. Includes letter of provenance from a Clarke descendant: EX/MT
