Description: Ted Williams personal military air training gun as displayed in the Hitter Hall of Fame (EX) Substantive metal simulated gun was used by Ted Williams as part of his military training. Small metal plate affixed to one side relays that it was made by "Mac Glashan Air Machine Gun Corp" and is a "Trainer - Aerial Gunnery, Type E-3." it is attached by a wire to a wooden box which was presumably needed to operated the gun and an additional wire extending from the box has its' end cut off. Use and some general age related wear. Includes a letter of provenance from the Executive Director of the Ted Williams Museum and Hitters Hall of Fame stating that is was the property of Ted Williams.
