Description: 1935-36 Diamond Matchbooks near complete set (140+ different) with around (20) color variations or duplicates (Avg. GD) Rarely offered complete set of matchbook covers featuring a good number of stars from the period. Mild to moderate wear throughout which is a touch more accentuated in some cases with average piece around GD condition with some lesser. Please note - these pieces were all issued with fold lines and a staple through the lower front. They have some additional wear (to varying degrees) from use and/or handling. Notables include Dick Bartell, Wally Berger, Jim Bottomley, Phil Cavaretta (PR/FR), Doc Cramer, Dizzy Dean, Kiki Cuyler, Leo Durocher, Frank Frisch, Charlie Grimm, Stan Hack, Gabby Hartnett, Billy Herman, Waite Hoyt, Carl Hubbell, Chuck Klein, Fred Lindstrom, Ernie Lombardi, Al Lopez, Bill McKechnie, Joe Medwick, Mel Ott, Casey Stengel, Lloyd Waner, and Paul Waner.
