Description: Bill Dickey, Red Ruffing, and Waite Hoyt "Greatest Thrill" letters (EX-NM) Trio of letters written in response to a fan asking each of the Hall of Famers what their "Greatest Thrill" was in baseball. Dickey and Ruffing are handwritten and signed, Hoyt has typed his response and signed it twice. Dickey mentions his 1943 World Series home run. Ruffing mentions being a Yankee and playing in the World Series and with Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Hoyt mentions being signed as a junior in high school, his first game (which he says ended with Ty Cobb in a fight under the bleachers), his first World Series game, and Induction into the Hall of Fame.
