Description: August 18, 1920 Yankees vs. Indians scorecard (at The Polo Grounds) - The same series, and game after, Carl Mays beans Ray Chapman (VG) Original scorecard issued for the series played at The Polo Grounds in which history was made for the most unforunate of reasons (with Chapman dying the following day after being hit in the head by a pitch). The interior scorecard page has the game score written in fountain pen and there are notations on the Indians lineup in pencil. These include the crossing out of Chapman's name. Mild general handling and storage wear with some scattered imperfections largely confined to the edges which have some minimal chipping.
