Description: 1957 Danny Murtaugh Pittsburgh Pirates professional model home jersey (Number change) (EX) Cream colored vest style jersey has "Pirates" team name across the front. Rawlings tag on front tail has adjacent size (44) tag and " 40 57" is embroidered below. The "40" references the rostered individual to whom the jersey was first issued and it was worn by Danny Murtaugh in 1957. Murtaugh began the season as a Coach with the team and at one point took over as Manager. Number "63" currently appears on the back, a change done by the team long ago. Wash tag inside has adjacent "Set 1 1957" flag tag. Very well preserved with evident use and wash wear throughout: EX ($500-$1,000)Final Bid: $1,311.00
