Description: Impressive c.1950 Baseball autograph book with nearly (400) signatures - numerous Hall of Famers and stars incl. Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, and Dan Bankhead (EX-NM, see description) Extensive collection of autographs appear on bound sheets from an autograph album (the covers have been removed) with the pages inside signed by players from a mix of different teams. Notables include Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Nellie Fox, Joe Gordon, Ban Bankhead, Bennie Bengough, Richie Ashburn, Robin Roberts, Jim Konstanty, Willie Jones, Bill Dickey, Yogi Berra, Hal Newhouser, George Kell, Rick Ferrell, Fred Hutchinson, Ted Lyons, Luke Appling (twice), Monte Irvin (twice), Leo Durocher (twice), Ed Waitkus, Ted Kluszewski, Ralph Kiner, Walt Dubiel, Johnny VanderMeer, Johnny Mize (3), Billy Martin, Casey Stengel, Phil Rizzuto, Bob Lemon, Bob Doerr (twice), Earle Combs, Red Scheondienst, Stan Musial, Pee Wee Reese, and Burt Shotten. Nearly all are done in ink (with very few personalized) rating 7 to 9 out of 10. Each has a small number written to one side (done by the original collector in the period) and there is a touch of light general handling and age related wear throughout.
