Description: 1989-90 Larry Bird signed Boston Celtics professional model road jersey with shorts (MEARS "A5", JSA) (EX) Green mesh jersey has "Celtics" team name across the front with number "33" below. Number also appears on back below the name, "Bird." On the left shoulder is a black "Follow Through" armband worn in honor of the late wife of then team owner Alan Cohen. MacGregor Sand-Knit tag on front tail notes size (44) and a "Designed & Tailored Exclusively" tag is above. Two additional embroidered tags to one side note year ("89") and custom length ("4"LB"). MEARS has noted on the the included documentation that while Bird was known to wear size (44) earlier in his career, other 1989 jerseys which have been accepted as issued to Bird are size (46). Signed on the front in black marker rating 7/8 out of 10 with some light evident wear. Included shorts are likewise by MacGregor (size 34) and also bear the "Designed & Tailored..." tag. Number "33" is written inside and MEARS states that this appears to have been traced over at some point.
