Description: Very nice c.1888 "Darktown Battery" mechanical bank with most of it's original surface and rare advertising card (VG with note to description) Desirable example retaining a good portion of the original color on painted surface. There is some minor scattered surface wear and a few areas of the typical surface rust. A small repair has been done to one arm. Included is a rare paper stock 3.25"x5.5" advertising card as issued by the J. & E. Stevens Co. in the period: VG ($1,000-$2,000)Final Bid: $1,089.00
