Description: 1933 Goudey lot of (8) autographed cards incl. Lefty O'Doul and Joe Cronin (see description) Desirable group which originates from the find years ago of 1933 Goudey cards which had been signed on the front along a red line which drawn in pencil. These are well known to collectors and highly sought after for their provenance. Includes #63 Joe Cronin (lower edge of card trimmed off, signature rates 5/6 out of 10); 98 Wally Berger; 213 Earl Adams; 215 Russ Van Atta; 217 Frank Crosetti (card has heavy wear and tape/stains); 228 Tony Piet; 231 Joe Moore; and 232 Lefty O'Doul. All are signed in fountain pen rating 7 to 8 out of 10 (with the exception of Cronin) and cards have scattered wear and would generally grade GD (Crosetti and Cronin lesser) without the signatures and line drawn on front: see description ($500-$1,000)Final Bid: $448.00
