Description: c.1930 "All-American Gridiron Coach" related letters, newspaper clippings, and others (GD-EX) Interesting group as relates to an award that was organized and handed out by writer Joe Lieb to Amos Alonzo Stagg. Includes signed letters from Amos Alonzo Stagg, Charles Curtis (V.P. of United States), William W. Roper, Dana Bible, Robert Zuppke, CW Spears, Lou Little (2, one signed only Lou), and John L. Griffith (first Commisioner of Big 10 Confrence); a handful of letters from newspaper writers/related; several photographs (mostly cut to outline of player) of unidentified players); "Side-Line Pass" issued to Lieb for Georgia football games in 1928 (edges/corners trimmed), (2) page type-written "Tribute To George Gipp"; and a number of scrapbook pages covered in publication/newspaper clippings.
