Description: August 21, 1949 Connie Mack Sterling Silver presentational piece from "Connie Mack Day" in New York (EX/MT) Presentational vase has been engraved on the front, "Presented To Connie Mack, By the Kiwanis Club On Behlaf Of The City, August 21, 1949." Sitatuated in the middle is an affixed "Seal Of The City of Wilmington Delaware." Mack was honored in pre-game ceremonies in Yankee Stadium after New York Mayor William O'Dwyer had officially proclaimed the day to be "Connie Mack Day."
