Description: Lot of (2) rare 1920 baseball themed New Process Electro Corporation chromolithograph broadsides (GD-VG) Pair of rare original 21.5"x31 color tinted broadsides which appear to have been issued as part of subscription series. These are the first of their type which we have seen and are fantastic early display pieces. Includes poster titled "On Trial!" with the theme being the 1919 World Series and ensuing scandal; poster titled "The Main Issue!" with the scene showing people crowded around a scoreboard discussing baseball (including mention of Babe Ruth). Mild toning and scattered wear which includes fold lines and some other flaws, much of which could reversed through conservation or covered over by matting when framed: GD-VG ($500-$1,000)Final Bid: $268.00
