Description: 1866 Leslie's Brooklyn vs. Philadelphia baseball woodcut (EX/MT matted). Leslie's Illustrated woodcut from the November 3rd 1866 issue captioned "The Great Contest Between the Atlantic Base Ball Club Of Brooklyn And The Athletics Of Philadelphia, At The Capitoline Grounds, Fulton Avenue, Brooklyn" which has been hand-tinted in color to highlight the lively scene. Matting measures 14"x22". Complete condition unknown, but minor creasing can be seen at the bottom left corner: EX/MT appearance
