| Description: c.1984 San Diego Stadium attributed outfield wall covering - can be seen in video of Steve Garvey NLCS homerun (EX) Large section of vinyl served as covering for the outfield wall in San Diego and has "370" painted on to denote feet from homeplate. It measures approx. 83"x37" and displays wear consistent with long term outdoor use and subsequent storage. This includes some chipping/flaking to the upper surface. Obtained by our consignor, a long time MLB affiliated executive, from San Diego Stadium and it appears to match the number over which Steve Garvey's 1984 NLCS walkoff homerun flew as it left the ballpark: EX ($500-$1,000) |
