| Description: 1941 Play Ball baseball near complete set (67 of 72 cards) (see description) Missing: #6, 14, 18, 21, and 71. Near complete set is mostly in technical FR condition which is largely due to mounting damage/stains/residue on backs and in some cases additional/other staining to cards. It appears that these were a partial set which was likely mounted within an album. It was later removed and some other cards were added in (these are generally GD). Keys: #8 Ott (NM OC attributes with stains on back), 10 Vaughan (VG OC, back damage), 13 Foxx (GD), 15 Cronin (EX miscut, back damage), 19 Gehringer (FR/GD), 20 Ruffing (GD), 54 Reese (GD), 60 Klein (stains to front and and back damage), 64 Doerr (VG miscut), 70 Dickey (miscut with stains to front/back), and 72 Gomez (EX-EX/MT attributes with stains on front/back). Also includes a complete 1977 reprint set and a partial 1977 reprint set: see description ($400-$600) |
