Description: Rookie era Cal Ripken Jr. Baltimore Orioles professional model hat c.1983-84 (EX) Classic style done in white and black with orange brim has the embroidered team logo on front and an orange button accent. "New EraëPro Model" and size "7 3/8" tagging appears inside along the band. A vintage player number "8" notation is written under the brim in marker. Just below is the signature of David Shapiro, the son of Ronald Shapiro who long served as one of Ripken's agents and legal representatives. It has been relayed that the younger Shapiro placed his signature there after receiving the hat directly from Ripken. Usage wear evident throughout.
