Description: 1977 Chuck Tanner Pittsburgh Pirates professional model jacket with 1979 World Series attribution (EX) Rare team issued jacket done in yellow and black and accented with trim of the same colors. There is a Pirates "P' logo on the left front chest and "7 48 77" embroidered strip tag in the collar (denoting player number, size, and year). A "Descente" manufacturers tag is inside along with a wash tag which also has the size stamped on. Strong useage and wash wear is evident throughout with a small section of the collar tag stitching loose. The jacket was presented to us as being that which was worn by Tanner during the 1979 World Series. While this can be definitively confirmed, it compares favorably to that which he can be seen wearing, during the Series, in several images (a number of which can be found on the Getty website). Also included is a pillbox style Pirates hat with "New Era...Pro Model" tagging.
