Description: Rare c.1976-77 Julius Erving signed Philadelphia 76ers professional model road jersey - an exceptional example from his first season in the NBA (MEARS 8 - 76ers Equipment Manager/Trainer signed letter) (EX-EX/MT) Blue mesh jersey has "Sixers" team name across the front with player number "6" below. The number also appears on back below the name, "Erving." A "Wilson" manufacturers tag on front tail notes size ("40") and there is an adjacent "4" X Long" flag tag. An embroidered strip tag above reads "76 6" (denoting year and player number). Signed on the front, "Julius Dr. J Erving" in black marker rating 8 out of 10. In exceptional overall condition with perhaps a hint of light wear. Includes LOAs from MEARS (graded "A8") and Hunt Auctions.
