Description: c.1942 Newark Eagles vs. Philadelphia Stars scorecard (EX) Desirable original scorecard issued for a game played at Rupert Stadium between the noted Negro League teams. Though the "Trenton Senators" team name is printed on front (a Minor League team then playing in the venue), rosters were applied to the scorecard pages (in the period) to reflect the Stars and Eagles. Notable names include Willie Wells, Leon Day, Max Manning, Edsall Walker, Mule Suttles, Gene Benson, Mahlon Duckett, and Buzz Clarkson.
