Description: Steve Carlton autographed c.1979-80 professional model baseball bat - Championship era (EX) Adirondack Big Stick bat with Carlton facsimile signature impressed in the barrel measures 33" long and weighs 33.4oz. Model number "256S" has been factory stamped in the knob which has vintage "32" player number notation. Date and a production code which would typically be found below the model number are not present suggesting that the bat dates to a transitional period (when Adirondack first began to apply these markings) in late 1979 or Spring Training of 1980. Uncracked with nice use including several ball/contact marks, red rack streaks, and pine tar. Signed in blue marker rating 7/8 out of 10: EX ($500-$1,000)Final Bid: $414.00
