Description: 1956 Mickey Mantle New York Yankees file copy contract (unsigned) (EX/MT-NM) Uniform Player's Contract has the "New York Yankees" team name typed in along with player "Mickey C. Mantle" with year noted as 1956. Unsigned and likely lingered as a file copy as salary is listed at $30,000 when he in fact landed up getting paid $32,000. It is possible that it went unused as Mantle was not happy with the amount or due to a typing error in the team name which was corrected at the time (see image).
