Description: 1898 Boston Beaneaters vs. Cincinnati Reds scorecard (GD/VG) Original heavy stock scorecard issued for a game played at the South End Grounds during the Beaneaters National League Championship season. Boston won the game which included participating Hall of Famers Vic Willis, Billy Hamilton, Hugh Duffy, Jimmy Collins, Jake Beckley, and Bid McPhee. Issued folded along the horizontal crease which can be seen at center, it has been neatly scored in pencil for what is likely the August 20th game. Expected age toning throughout with some light corner and edge wear and minor scattered chipping. A pair of faint vertical folds have been well pressed out through years of flat storage: GD/VG ($400-$600)Final Bid: $253.00
