Description: 1956 Yankees vs. Dodgers World Series souvenir trophy, program, (2) full proof tickets, and proof stub (GD-EX) Includes 6" trophy style souvenir which has a batter figure standing atop round black base. On the front is a silver colored applique which reads "N.Y. Yankees vs. Brooklyn Dodgers 1956 World Series." Light scattered surface with discoloration to batter who is missing the end of bat; original program issued for game played at Ebbets Field with some light wear that is slightly more accentuated on back cover. A faint vertical fold has been well pressed out through years of flat storage; full proof tickets (no seat numbers) for Games "6" and "Z." Game (6) ticket has some paper loss at right end of the front, other has moisture staining throughout; stub portion of a Game "7" proof ticket with mild creasing: GD-EXFinal Bid: $105.00
