Description: Lot of (4) c.1930s-40s Brooklyn Dodger player endorsed store model gloves incl. like new Sam Leslie and black leather Van Mungo (GD/VG-NM) Includes high grade Sam Leslie signature model B11FR right handed TruSport baseman's mitt. Glove has a hint of natural ageing but is otherwise, "as issued"; Van Lingle Mungo black leather left handed split finger glove with tunnel loop web. Wrist strap closure is D & M logo'd button. Facsimile signature inside remains well defined, most of the other markings have largely worn away. Mild use and age wear with some scuffs/small cracks in leather (these effect a few of the fingers and are not visible when displayed. It appears that the lacing has been replaced (GD/VG-VG); Joe Stripp buckle backed baseman's mitt with single lace web that has broken. Facsimile signature is very well defined, maker mark is no longer descernable (VG); Cookie Lavagetto left handed Dubow glove with well defined facsimile signature and other markings partially visible.
