Description: 1941 Brooklyn Dodgers Spring Training in Cuba - lot of (9) pieces incl. rare scorecard/program (EX-NM) Interesting lot of material as relates to the Dodgers in Havana, Cuba in 1941. Includes a rare original scorecard/program which pictures Leo Durocher and Joe Medwick on the cover. Intended for use by several different teams, those listed on the front include. Dodgers, Giants, Indians, Reds, and Red Sox. The unscored interior pages have Dodgers and Indians probable lineups attached. Program has a touch of light wear (EX/MT-NM); paper stock pass for the Gran Stadium Cerveza at which games took place which has "Miss Nellie Durocher" name typed in (Leo Durocher's daughter); (2) original paper stock tickets to a Dodgers vs. Giants game played as part of the trip; original heavy stock scorecard (unused) which has space to record scores for all games (11 total between Brooklyn and other opponents); (3) 4.25"x7.5" sepia toned original photos with period ink notations on front noting the date/place (all taken in Havana) and subject. Includes shots of Pee Wee Reese in street clothes, Paul Waner (in uniform swinging), and players in bathing suits with Pee Wee Reese being thrown into a pool; slightly smaller period image of Leo Durocher and a man dressed in suit (was with the group as is presumed to have likely been taken in Cuba).
