Description: 1968 UCLA vs. Houston "Game of the Century" program, plus 1968 Holiday Festival program with Alcindor (VG/EX-NM). Includes program from historic game between Houston and UCLA played on January 20th 1968 at the Astrodome. It was called the "Game of the Century", and was the first NCAA regular season game broadcast nationwide in prime time. Elvin Hayes scored 39 points to lead Houston to a 71-69 win over Lew Alcindor and UCLA, but it was UCLA's only loss of the season, and they went on to win the NCAA championship. Program remains in NM condition with minimal handling wear, and is scored in ink on the scorecard page. Also includes December 27-30th Madison Square Garden ECAC Holiday Festival program with the following teams participating: Villanova, Holy Cross, Princeton, North Carolina, Michigan St, St.John's, UCLA, Providence (VG/EX due to ink marks on cover).
