Description: "Shirley President Suspenders" rare set of (6) sports themed store advertising displays c.1910s (GD-EX) Nice set of (6) period display pieces, each done on heavy stock with color lithographed illustrations on front. Text on back promotes their use as store displays and confirms that there were (6) different issued. Each measures 8.5"x13.5" with themes to include baseball, golf, fishing, bowling, tennis, and billiards. Varying degrees of wear throughout with all showing at least some evidence of moisture exposure and rounding to corners. Baseball has a few small edge chips (and back loss), each of the others has more pronounced area(s) of wear incl. corner chips.
