Description: Goldsmith mushroom knob baseball bat c.1890s-1900s (Displays EX, see description) Early bat with a large mushroom knob has the Goldsmith logo burned in at center along with model "NO 50." Usage and age wear visible throughout with pitting, chipping, and grain separation. Some small areas of material have been filled in and it appears the entire bat has been refinished. Measures 33.5" and it appears that the barrel end may have been cut down: Displays EX, see description
