Description: Al Brancato signed Philadelphia Athletics professional model road jersey c.1939-45 (EX) Gray flannel jersey has the Athletics "A" team logo on front chest and player number "18" on back. Left sleeve has an area where patch can be seen to have been present but has since been removed. "Mitchell & Ness" manufacturers tag appears in the collar with size "42" tag below. Embroidered strip tag in the tail reads, "Brancato." Exceptional display value with evident useage and wash wear throughout and some very minor damage to the accent piping. Signed on the front in blue marker rating 7/8 out of 10 and inscribed "1939 40 41 45." Includes small photo of Brancato at the time of signing: EX ($1,500-$2,000)Final Bid: $1,650.00
