Description: Rare Shibe Park keychain (with key) and additional Shibe/Athletics related material (Overall EX) Circular metal keychain with impressed upper portion (1.5" across) reading, "American Baseball Club of Phila. Shibe Park 43." Attached at end of a short chain is a key (presumed to be original). Included 1930s-40s era cloth like tag with printed on titling/lettering to include "From American League BasebalL Co. of St. Louis" has handwritten notation in fountain pen "Do not fit any Browns trunks or doors, all these keys are alike." The tag was present along with the key and is assumed to relate to it. Also includes brick attributed to Shibe Park/Connie Mack Stadium through affixed engraved metal placard; c.1910s gold bordered Shibe Park postcard and additional slightly later period postcard with view of game action in Shibe; c.1920s 8" Athletics mini-pennant with unusual and highly visual design; slightly later period 1.25" Athletics stadium pin with attached ribbon and additional pin of similar design; ($300-$500)Final Bid: $354.00
