Description: Mike Schmidt rookie era professional model baseball bat (1974-75 centerbrand, listed as shipping in 1974) with painted on Adirondack style ring (EX) Louisville Slugger 125 model cupped end bat with "Schmidt" block lettered into the barrel end measures 36" long and weighs 34.2oz. Model number "K75" is factory impressed in the knob which has a vintage "20" written on below smaller "4" (likely denoting weight). Factory records indicate that this model, with cupped end, was sent to Schmidt in 1974. A black ring has been painted on at the same location which Adirondack would have had as he was an Adirondack endorsee at the time. A section of barrel, approx. 4.25" long is missing, including a small portion of the stampings. Evident usage wear includes ball/stitch marks to barrel along with scattered red rack marks/streaks and some light visible pine tar.
