Description: Hack Wilson c.1933 autographed baseball *see description* (VG-EX) Red and black stitched period baseball displaying soiling and usage wear throughout bears a fountain pen "Hack Wilson" signature on side panel. Additional notation on sweetspot, in unknown hand, reads "May 20th 1933." Signature and date rate approx. 6-6/7 out of 10. The ball has reviewed by James Spence Authentication whom declined to issue a certificate of authenticity. Given our experience with Wilson signed material and the strong similarities between his autograph and that which appears on this ball we have opted to offer it with the caveat that, while in our opinion it is a genuine example, we can not gurantee that it will pass any third party authentication: VG-EX ($1,000-$2,000)Final Bid: DNS
