Description: Pele New York Cosmos professional model road jersey c.1975-76 (EX) Green mesh pull over jersey has the New York Cosmos logo screened on left front chest and player number "10" on right. Number also appears on back below the name, "Pele." In the collar is a "Champion" manufacturers tag which notes the size, medium. Usage and wash wear evident throughout. The jersey was obtained directly from Pele by a Tampa Florida hair stylist through whose shop both Tampa Bay and visiting team players frequently passed. Through use of the vast number of documented game photos available from the period we have confirmed to the Cosmos wore this particular style in 1975-76.
