Description: Willard Mullin original Casey Stengel and the New York Mets illustration artwork c.1961 (EX/MT) ($300-$500) Large format original done in Mullin's inimitable style and signed with his trademark signature within lower portion. Content relates to Casey Stengel (shown in background) as the Mets assembled their inaugural roster (Lee Walls is labled on one of character bases who never played with the team but was traded to and from them in 1961).
