Description: 1910 Johnny Evers signed testimonial letter to sporting goods manufacturers Goldsmith & Sons (Sig. NM, Letter VG-EX) (full JSA LOA) ($2,000-$4,000) Early "John J Evers" black fountain pen signature rating 8-8/9 appears on a November 12, 1910 dated note typed on "Evers and Williams Shoe Co." stationary. Content reads as follows: "Gentlemen: I have given you Professional Glove a thorough try-out and find it just what I have always wanted. Shall use it constantly, Sincerely yours." Letter has fold lines from mailing along with additional mostly minor wrinkles/creasing, some chipping at corners/edges, and scattered spots of discoloration. Mounted to paper backing.
