Description: 1949 Bowman baseball near complete (238 of 240 cards) with numerous high grade examples incl. key HOFer/Rookies (Range VG-NM, avg. EX or better with small portion trimmed - see description) ($2,000-$4,000) Very solid foundation for what could be a high grade set with numerous strong condition cards throughout including a good number of EX/MT and NM examples. A small portion of the cards have been trimmed and efforts have been made to identify those key cards which have this issue. SGC has concurred, assigning an "A" (authentic) grade to (4) out of (12) total cards which were submitted for grading (2 cards are offered seperately, 10 are included with this partial set). Without regard to those cards which have been trimmed, the avg. grade falls a solid EX if not better. Missing #224 Paige and 226 Snider.
