Description: Rare 1945 USO "Championship Series" pictorial display piece showing Major Leaguers incl. Ted Williams and Stan Musial (see description) Appealing 12"x18" period issued display piece taking certificate form with "Compliments of the USO" titling at top. Pictured in two rows are members of the American and National Leagues whom served and participated in the "Championship Series" which was played September 26-October 7, 1945. Will present nicely when framed with some light general soiling/wear which is slightly more accentuated in a few areas. Heavier wear is confined largely to white border edges which have some torn off/missing pieces (this effects the gray area minimally in 3 small places).
