Description: 1933 World Series program (at Washington) and scrapbook with (5) Game (5) ticket stubs on the inside cover (Program EX/MT, Book EX/MT overall) Original program issued for game played at Griffith Stadium displays light wear which is largely confined to some front cover imperfections/scuffs. Includes attractive period scrapbook (11"x12.5") which has (5) ticket stubs from the Series clinching Game (5), which was played in Washington, affixed to interior front cover. Also present are several similar period Philadelphia Athletics ticket stubs and the exterior of the cover is decorated with A's player images and titling. Filled throughout with newsprint images/clippings which largely relate to the A's with some other teams/subjects mixed in. Also found inside are several full newspaper pages which are neatly folded and tucked into envelopes that are affixed to pages and a Rotary Club program for an event at which George Earnshaw appeared. Well cared for with touch of light wear the result of infrequent handling and all interior pages are fully intact (note - many pages have toned in places due to contact with the articles inside) ($400-$600)Final Bid: $463.00
