Description: c.1960s-70s Baseball bats from the Bobby Wine collection (5) incl. 1960s pro model and highly unusual late 60s double knob Adirondack (GD-EX/MT) Includes late 60s to early 70s 34" cork grip "Authentic Tan Oak Oregon Slammer" baseball bat with "F2 Spalding 34 1/2" hand burned centerbrand. Bat shows light use on reverse barrel with none effecting display qualities; Late 60s Adirondack brand 302 "Big Stick" bat with Phillies block lettered in place of player knob having a highly unusual double knob. Evident usage wear throughout with no effect on display value; Adirondack 392F "Bobby Wine Personal Model" with applied metal placard commemorating the 1978 All-Star Game. Very light wear; store model Louisville Slugger 125 Flame Tempered "Jackie Robinson" signature model bat with "JR3" with scattered wear to barrel and black tape applied between handle and centerbrand; and c.1960s Adirondack 302 model bat with "Wine" block lettered in barrel and "158A" stamped in knob which also has black marker "7" written on. Light evident usage wear with a hole near knob and several holes in barrel end which are the result of prior mounting or use within furniture (one has partial nail protruding) and crack in barrel. Some of teh bats have small hole in knob from prior mounting. Includes letter of provenance from Bobby Wine: GD-EX/MT ($400-$600)
