Description: 1980 Philadelphia Phillies 10th Anniversary World Series trophy presented to Bobby Wine (EX/MT) Original high quality figural trophy fashioned after the full sized version representing one of the most recognizable and desirable Championship season mementos. This example was crafted in honor of the 10th Anniversary of the Phillies 1980 World Series Championship. Stands 12" tall with a series of team name lettered brass pennants circling the perimeter of a black plinth base. Set atop are a pair of World Series press pins and brass hoop with crown finial. Band which encircles the base has printed on 10th Anniversary logo and facsimile player signatures. Original "Balfour" label remains affixed to underside. Displays mild discoloration/spotting throughout, a portion of which could likely be cleaned. Includes letter of provenance from Bobby Wine: EX/MT ($2,000-$4,000)Final Bid: $2,662.00
