Description: Large collection of c.1983-85 Christmas cards (and related) both signed and unsigned from notable sports figures, politicians, entertainers, and others (see description) Pair of large albums house a collection of Christmas cards (along with greeting cards, letters, small photos, and other related material) as assembled in 1983-85 by an autograph collector on behalf of his mother. There are pieces included which as signed, unsigned, pre-printed, autopen, and in some cases secretarial or otherwise non-authentic. Efforts have been made to identify some of the more notable authentic and non-authentic/secretarial pieces however please note that as a sizable number of those included are not names we are too familiar with authenticity can not be guaranteed. All are mounted within the albums, some can be removed with little damage, others can not. The overwhelming majority have had fronts cut from backs to facilitate display. One of the album is falling apart due to age.
