Description: 1892 New York Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers Detroit Journal supplements (Hall of Famers pictured incl. Rusie, Welch, O'Rourke, Ewing, Ward, and Brouthers) (2) (see description) Vintage period supplements as issued by the Detroit Journal. Giants is titled "New York Base Ball Team." Team members are shown in nicely decorated stadium and identified below by their last names (note Welch is mis-spelled). Supplement itself measures 9"x10.5" and has general age toning and wear throughout with some generally light creasing, wrinkling, and few very small tears or other imperfections. Ink or other coloration with either purposefully added in a few areas in enhance appearance or has otherwise made it's way on the piece (mostly at upper right corner); Dodgers is titled "Brooklyn Base Ball Team" with composite images individually identified. Similar types of wear as Giants premium but heavier with some small holes and portions missing at lower right and left.
