Description: 1948 Billy Evans typed letter signed to Earl Rapp with related Evans signed Notice of Transfer to Seattle Rainiers (Documents EX/MT, Sigs. NM-MT) Two page letter on "Detroit Baseball Company" stationary from Hall of Famer Billy Evans is dated February 12, 1948. Evans explains to Rapp that the Tigers are dealing him to Seattle of the Pacific Coast League. Also includes the "Notice To Player of Release of Transfer" document which reassigned his contract. Both pieces signed by Evans in ink rating 8/9 out of 10. Touch of light toning and typical/expected light wear. Includes letter of provenance from the family of Earl Rapp: Documents EX/MT, Sigs.
