Description: 1940s-50s Baseball and Tennis autograph collection with Jackie Robinson, Branch Rickey, Dizzy Dean, and Bobby Riggs (60+ total sigs.) (Book overall EX/MT, Sigs. EX-NM) Baseball - (31) total signatures with (21) taped or glued in cuts and the balance signed directly on the pages (ink and pencil signatures rate 5/6 to 9 out of 10, mostly 7-8 with cuts being somewhat irregular in nature). Notables: incl. Jackie Robinson ("Best Wishes" in blue ink on irregularly cut paper, taped at sides which has toned), Branch Rickey (signed directly on notebook page), Joe DiMaggio (on 3x5 index card in pencil along with other late 1940s Yankees players, affixed to book at one back corner), Joe Medwick (closely cut pencil signature), and Dizzy Dean (on notebook page with other c.1947 St. Louis Browns). Others (mostly taped/glued in cut signatures) incl. Dixie Walker, Gene Hermanski, Billy Cox, Bill Rigney, Johnny Pesky, Walt Brown, Fred Sanford, Marty Marion, and Stan Musial. Also includes pair of vintage signed team issued 8"x10" photos (paper stock) of Elston Howard and Moose Skowron; Tennis - lined notebook page signed front and back by (31) incl. Bobby Riggs. Additional taped on typed schedule of events for June 22, 1949 Championship match is signed by Wayne Sabin and Jimmy Evert; Other sports/fields incl.
