Description: "C.W.Smith's New Baseball Game" c.1885 (see description) (VG) Small boxed game (3.75" square) with lid having affixed label with titling and period player graphic along with "April '85" copyright date. Label has toned and displays scattered wear with piece missing at lower corner. Interior lid has repeat of graphic and instructions (much better preserved displaying at EX/MT level). Box holds a playing field card with base positions printed at corners and advertisement at center along with (3) wooden pieces. Card has some pencil writing.
