Description: Ted Williams signed check to Louisville Slugger with "Better Hitter" brochure and American League Silver Slugger bat from his personal collection (VG/EX to EX/MT-NM) Includes 1976 "American League Silver Sluggers" commemorative black bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat features impressed silver lettering player facsimile signatures of the AL Silver Slugger award winners from 1949-1976. Players include Williams, Carew, Yastrzemski, Mantle, and Kaline. Bat measures 35" long and also displays the desirable 1976 bicentennial logo. General surface wear including a few scratches which break the black painted surface: VG-EX; 1957 Ted Williams "How to be a Better Hitter" booklet issued by Hillerich & Bradsby Co. picturing Williams on the front cover: EX; and a Ted Williams autographed personal check as made out to the "H&B Louisville Slugger" for a set of golf clubs given to Williams' son. Signed, "Theodore Williams" at the bottom: NM.
