Description: Tony Lazzeri professional model baseball bat c.1943-49 (post career Coaching era) (VG-EX see description) Louisville Slugger 125 model baseball bat with "Tony Lazzeri" facsimile signature burned into the barrel end and model number "L16" in knob. Heavy use is evident throughout along with some soiling. Handle crack has been covered in two layers of tape with the original underlying appearing to possibly be vintage to the period. Large section of the reverse barrel missing (approx. 11" long). Fine example for display, with missing piece not visible when positioned for viewing, of an otherwise prohibitively expensive playing days bat: VG-EX with note to description ($300-$500)Final Bid: $165.00
