Description: "Challenge The Yankees" board game with all (50) player cards c.1964-65 (Cards range VG-NM, balance VG-EX/MT) Desirable game in original box including (50) player cards (several in very nice NM condition), (24) "Home Team Player Performance" cards, instructions, stack of unused Batting Order Sheets, (2) Manager's strategy cards, dice, pegs, game board, and scoreboard. Box displays scattered wear with split seams at (3) corners (2 reinforced with tape). Player cards incl (25) Yankees which appear to date to 1964 and (25) All Stars cards which may date to 64 and 65 (Dick Groat for example is listed as being on the 64 AS team thus the card was likely printed in 65). Player cards range VG-NM averaging EX-EX/MT (one or two lesser) with some keys as follows: Mantle (EX), Berra (VG/EX-EX), Maris (EX-EX/MT), Yaz (EX/MT), Aaron (EX/MT-NM), Mathew (EX/MT-NM): Cards range VG-NM, balance VG-EX/MT ($400-$600)Final Bid: $613.00
