Description: Ty Cobb and Ted Williams vintage photograph c.1950s with Cobb/Williams original illus. artwork (Photo EX-EX/MT, Art VG-EX) Period 8"x10" sepia toned photograph of Cobb and Williams displaying light consistent toning with several very small "drop" sized water marks. Mounted to cardboard stock backing (not removable) and has small piece of tape at each corner (if framed for display, tape could be matted out); original 10.5"x15.75" illustration style artwork dated 1946 and signed "Dahl" featuring a (6) scene accounting of "The Bostonian Who Never Followed Baseball (continued)." Ends with the man chatting with a Native American who says "You thinkum Ted Williams hits better than Ty Cobb?." Light to moderate wear and toning with publication masking applied at areas.
